Austin City Limits – Another Green Success Story

Event Water Solutions just got back from Austin City Limits, another great festival put on by C3 Presents.  About 75,000 people per day gathered at the beautiful Zilker Park in Austin, Texas to enjoy 130 musical acts.  With  blue skies and temperatures over 30 degrees all three days, our eight water stations were on the go non stop.

In total we saved about 223,700 plastic water bottles from use. We were impressed with the amount of people who brought their own refillable bottles - way to go ACL attendees!

Austin City Limits is clearly committed to being one of the most environmentally friendly festivals out there.  It was a pleasure to be a part of their greening initiatives.

At Lollapalooza we poured 102,100 liters of water, resulting in 204,200 water bottles saved!

Event Water Solutions just returned from Lollapalooza Lollapalooza in Grant Park in Chicago 2010about a week ago and it was a huge success.

The festival took place over three days at Grant Park, Chicago.  The festival was so well run, and the musical acts were stellar.

All three days were sweltering hot, and we’ve never felt so much appreciation from festival attendees.  We had nine stations set up, and the water never stopped flowing.  By the end of the festival, we poured 102,100 liters of water, resulting in 204,200 water bottles saved!

We’d like to thank our staff, and all the local volunteers who worked so hard for so many hours.  Special thanks to C3 Presents for bringing us on board and being so helpful throughout the event.

Hope to be back next year!

HOPE Volleyball SummerFest 2010 is Going Green!

This year, HOPE Volleyball SummerFest 2010, with the support of The Ottawa Group of Sierra Club Canada, has secured Event Water Solutions to help in our steps towards a greener event! On Saturday, July 10th at Mooney’s Bay,  this partnership will provide HOPE with a means to completely eliminate the need for plastic water bottles and provide refreshing and great tasting drinking water for our participants.

How will it work for the festival and attendees?

The “Eauasis” is a stainless steel water station with an integrated filtration system that can be hooked up to any municipal water source. At each of the Event Water Solutions water stations, the water is filtered with a state of the art filtration system, including ultraviolet sterilization and dispensed to our festival attendees and participants.

The Green Results!

HOPE’s partnership with The Sierra Club of Ottawa, aids their efforts in the education of Ottawans about protecting our environment, and helps HOPE & Event Water Solutions provide drinking water for event patrons without the plastic water bottles littering our site!

Be sure to bring your REUSEABLE WATER CONTAINERS and fill up at either Event Water Solutions two stations.
